This is my first year in a very long time that I am not working in retail, and as relieved as I am not to be dealing with that crazy mess, I’d give the world for my health back so I could.
Last year in November is when I first got sick and started having problems working.
This year I’m still working on recovery and consulting doctors and surgeons to find some answers, but meanwhile I’ve got my blog to occupy me when I’m coherent enough to write.
I’ve been noticing more and more of my friends jumping into online jobs, and I’m fairly certain everyone has a Black Friday deal, so I was thinking wouldn’t it be great if I did all my shopping from my friends this year?
It occurs to me that if I am going to spend money online I’d rather give it to someone who really needs it.
I know how it feels to be out of work and struggling to make ends meet, or to put your all into being your own boss so you can have the freedom to raise your kids or travel.
My affiliates are all sharing some great Black Friday deals below and if you take advantage of them through me (at no extra cost to you) the tiny commission will go a long way in helping me continue my medical treatment and feed my rescue cats.
But I want to help you and others, too.
If you are a part of the chronic illness or work at home community, like me, I’d love it if you could share any links to the Black Friday deals for your products or affiliates in the comments on this post.
And if you are planning to shop on Black Friday – check out my deals and any deals that are shared here before you spend more money than you need to and give it to a large corporation.
This is my version of small business shopping and being a good neighbor. Let’s extend it for the rest of the holiday season, as well.
(P.S. Be nice to your salespeople – they don’t get paid enough to be yelled at during the holidays.)
